This is an unusual short course – designed to introduce “strength – oriented” personal trainers to the beautiful world of aerobic endurance training! Quite often, clients require aerobic or cardio training. It is for the personal trainer to help the clients walk, jog, run with the correct techniques as also help them use cardio machines like rowing machines, elliptical cross trainer, the upright and recumbent cycles with efficiency and safety.

There are 16 types of Fitness Goals that can be achieved through a mix of eight training modalities. Body weight training is one of these eight and, certainly, Aerobic Endurance Training is one of most popular exercise formats in this category.

The AET student will understand the biomechanics of various aerobic activities and the underlying “physiology” and this will help him / her design goal – oriented aerobic training programs.

Conducted by GĀYO FITNESS ACADEMY, this specialist course is approved by International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) – USA for 7 CEUs.

This short course – Module 2.09 – is part of the Mumbai University Certificate Course for Personal Fitness Trainers (CCPFT).

It is approved by International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) – USA for 7 CEUs.

AET is also a popular stand-alone course. You can attend it without enrolling to CCPFT.

Student Eligibility

Student –

  1. Must have passed 10 years of School Education
  2. Must be physically and medically fit
  3. Must have passion for fitness / sport
  4. Physically Challenged persons can apply if they have exposure to fitness / sport
  5. BEFORE FINAL EXAMINATION, must attend and be certified in First Aid & CPR with AED
  6. Course delivery is bilingual, however students ought to have working knowledge of English

  1. Online WEBINARS (face-to-face) supported with training videos
  2. GUIDED home study / practice
  3. Home ASSIGNMENTS

Fee

If you are enrolling to only AET specialist course, the fee is ₹3,000* including –

  • Gayo certificate,
  • eBOOK and
  • nearly 50 videos

*FEE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE. GST AS APPLICABLE. CHECK FEE PRIOR TO ENROLMENT.

Note: AET fee is included in the CCPFT fee. Students enrolled to CCPFT do not pay additionally for AET.

Examination

Course End Assessment

  • Theory: 25 MCQs that will cover the Science of Strength Training: Maximum marks: 50
  • Practical Teaching: Maximum marks: 50

Student has to teach one of the following groups –

  • Warm-up
  • Walking – Jogging – Running
  • Cardio machines – cycles, elliptical cross trainers, treadmills
  • Cool Down

Total number of Learning hours

  • Home Study & Practice: 40 hours

If you do only AET, you pay only ₹3,000* You do not have to pay this fee if you are enrolled to the University of Mumbai Certificate Course for Personal Fitness Trainers (CCPFT) syllabus. *FEE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE. GST AS APPLICABLE. CHECK FEE PRIOR TO ENROLMENT.
