This is an unusual short course – designed to introduce “strength – oriented” personal trainers to the beautiful world of aerobic endurance training! Quite often, clients require aerobic or cardio training. It is for the personal trainer to help the clients walk, jog, run with the correct techniques as also help them use cardio machines like rowing machines, elliptical cross trainer, the upright and recumbent cycles with efficiency and safety.
There are 16 types of Fitness Goals that can be achieved through a mix of eight training modalities. Body weight training is one of these eight and, certainly, Aerobic Endurance Training is one of most popular exercise formats in this category.
The AET student will understand the biomechanics of various aerobic activities and the underlying “physiology” and this will help him / her design goal – oriented aerobic training programs.
