Pilates on a ball, also known as Pilates on the Swiss Ball or Exercise Ball, is a form of exercise that combines Pilates principles with the use of a large inflatable ball.

After completing the Pilates Matwork course but before doing the Reformer course, it is highly recommended that the Pilates Teacher do Ballwork as an effective transition. The ball provides an unstable surface, engaging the core muscles and challenging balance, stability, and control.
Pilates on the Ball adds variety and challenge to traditional Pilates exercises, making it a great way to mix up your workout routine. It is important to note that you cannot train your client only on the Reformer – or, only on the Mat. Your client’s exercise plan ought to be a permutation and combination of Matwork, Ball and the Reformer. Later on, you might want add some of the other Apparatus –
