Certificate Courses for PILATES ON BALL Teachers – CHANDIGARH

Pilates on a ball, also known as Pilates on the Swiss Ball or Exercise Ball, is a form of exercise that combines Pilates principles with the use of a large inflatable ball.

After completing the Pilates Matwork course but before doing the Reformer course, it is highly recommended that the Pilates Teacher do Ballwork as an effective transition.  The ball provides an unstable surface, engaging the core muscles and challenging balance, stability, and control.

Pilates on the Ball adds variety and challenge to traditional Pilates exercises, making it a great way to mix up your workout routine!

After you complete your Matwork and Ball Pilates, you may the decide to progress onto any of the Pilates on Reformer and then, later –

  • on Cadillac (Trapeze Tower)
  • on Wunda Chair
  • on Ladder Barrel
  • with Ped-O-Pull
  • with Magic Circle

EREPS

Our Pilates On Ball is part of our European Standards – European Register of Exercise Professionals (EREPS) Level 4 Pilates Trainer course.

REPS UAE

The REPS UAE has pre-approved our Pilates on Ball clinic, conducted in the UAE, for 16 CPDs.

Together with Matwork and Pilates on Reformer and other Apparatus, Pilates on Ball leads to Comprehensive Pilates certification as approved by REPS UAE.

We have applied for ISSA (USA) CEUs.

Our Pilates on Ball clinic will enable the attendees to use the unstable, curved surface to provide variety and more challenging workouts to –

  • Improve core strength and stability
  • Enhance balance and coordination
  • Increase flexibility and range of motion
  • Strengthen muscles, especially core and stabilizers
  • Pilates on the Ball is considered functional because it:
  • Mimics real-life movements: Exercises on the ball often involve movements that mimic daily activities, such as bending, twisting, or reaching.
  • Engages multiple muscle groups: The unstable surface of the ball requires engagement of multiple muscle groups, including core muscles, to maintain balance and control.
  • Improves coordination and balance: The ball’s instability challenges the body to adapt, improving overall coordination, balance, and proprioception (awareness of body position).
  • Translates to everyday activities: The strength, stability, and coordination gained from Pilates on a ball can translate to improved performance in daily activities and sports.
  • Functional exercises like Pilates on a ball help improve the body’s ability to function efficiently and effectively in everyday life.
  • Must have completed Level 3 or 4 Pilates on Mat certificate course from an internationally accredited Pilates education provider
  • Must be medically fit
  • Must have sound knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology and Kinesiology & Biomechanics.
  • First Aid & CPR with AED certificate
