Prof Ian Jeffreys (UK)
He is a world authority in the development of speed & agility and conditioning for team sports. His unique GAMESPEED system and RAMP warm-up protocols have been adopted by coaches and organizations across the world.

He is an Emeritus Professor in the National Strength and Conditioning Association (USA) and the founder of the UK Strength and Conditioning Association. He is currently president of the NSCA.

He has worked with top professional sports teams in Europe, USA and Asia.

He is a Visiting Faculty in our Academy from May 2018.

GameSpeed is part of our Certificate Course in Strength & Sports Conditioning (CCSSC) course.

It has been approved for following CEUs:
– GAYO FITNESS ACADEMY CCPFT / CCSSC / CCFCM / CCIPT / CCBBC: 20 CEUs

SYLLABUS:
GAMESPEED is advanced training program for developing speed, agility and power in team sports. It provides progressive structure to develop, hone, integrate individual movements into quality movement patterns for enhanced sports performance.
Based on scientific research from domains of neurology and skill acquisition, it ensures optimal conditions for skill enhancement and enhanced performance
It is applicable to team and individual sports. Helps address functional agility and power

The RAMP system—Raise, Activate, Mobilize, and Potentiate
Warm-up is not just prep for upcoming session, but for long term athletic development.
It cultivates skills and movement capacities needed in sport with multiple movement patterns
It improves locomotive and motor skill control by including variety of movements into warm-up
It is standard warm-up system recommended by UKSCA ; included NSCA resources
